The Cast and their roles were announced in february 2019. Amiya Dev ,the daughter of Kapil Dev, joined as an assistant to the director Kabir Khan .Tamil actor Jeeva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth marking his hindi debut. 

The Movie details the journey of the Victory of the Indian Cricket team ,led by Kapil Dev in the 1983 World Cup on 25 June 1983 ,the Lord 's Cricket Ground witnessed 14 men beat the twice over World Champicons West Indies, putting  India back onto the cricket world stage.

This is a real life story and for indians this was a moment of pride .Ranveer Singh lives as Kapil Dev .Not just in looks ,but body language and suction too.

The cricket board's administrative department ,our media ,Englands media .The return flight tickets are also booked for 20th June, though the finals are 25th June .
