" Firestarter"  is an upcoming american science fiction horror film directed by Keith Thomas, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King .

lt is a reboot of the 1984 film adaptation of the same name and stars  Zac Efron ,Ryan Kiera Amstrong , Sydney Lemmon ,Michael Greyeyes ,Kurtwood Smith ,John Beasley and Gloria Reuben .
