Farhan Akhtar's " Toofan " Movie Review.

 " Toofaan (Storm) " is a Hindi
language Sports drama film directed by Rakeyesh Om Prakash Mehra and Starring Farhan Akhtar as a national level boxer , alongside Mrunal Thakur , Paresh Rawal , Sonali Kulkarni , Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra , Vijay Raaz , Darshan Kumar , Supriya Pathak , Mohan Agas he , Milind Pathak , Imran Rashid , Deven Khole , Arhan Chowdary , Jatin Sapru , R. J Anmol , Akashdeep Sabir , Gauri Phulika , Sahil Patel and Gaganpreet Sharma in Supporting roles .The film premiered on Amzon Prime Video.

" Toofan"  was supposed to be a moving underdog story It was perhaps designed to replicate the success of Farhan production, the perfect Gully Boy.

Farhan Akhtar's brilliant expressions made the ending scene bring tears to my eyes. Even though there is a lot of buzz around Farhan's character as Aiju Bhai  being less believable . I feel that somewhere the depiction of Aziz Ali was meant to be that of a misguided person with a good heart very appropriately and no that of a hardcore gangster.

Overall the movie is good with good story , flawless acting , sober music and effective direction. It's a must watch or at least a  one time watch.

Rating : 3.5 / 5.
