Prithviraj Sukumaran's " KHALIFA Part 1 " is scheduled to release on 20th August 2026.

"KHALIFA" is planned as a two -part film . Mohanlal will take over as the main lead in the second part, playing the full- fledged role of Mambarakkal Ahamad Ali.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Neil Nitin Mukesh,Kyryaa ,Indrans , Ranji Panikar, Mohini, Shammi Thilakan, Master Nafash, Shine Varghese , Shivajith , Rajith Velayudhan, Anand Manmandan and Don Michael  in lead roles. Mohanlal as Mambarakkal Ahamad Ali ( Cameo Appearance )

"KHALIFA" malayalam language action thriller film is directed by Vysakh , the story is written by Jinu Abraham, The music is done by Jakes Bejoy , The camera work is handled by Jomon T.John , and editing is by Chaman Chacko. "KHALIFA" revolves around the world of gold Smuggling. The film's tagline reads " Revenge will be written in golden letters" .The story follows a man who becomes entangled in a complex world of revenge, heritage and influence amid gold smuggling operations.The screenplay emphasizes high- stakes action and power struggles, with the story setup as a multi -generational saga of empire -building and retribution.
