The Superman film is a reboot of the Superman film series and the first film in the DC Universe (DCU). Directed by James Gunn, the movie explores Clark Kent's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human family in Smallville, Kansas.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Other notable cast members include Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern.

Gunn's vision for the film takes inspiration from various comic book sources, including All-Star Superman (2005-2008) by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. The movie is expected to have a distinct tone, differing from Gunn's previous Guardians of the Galaxy films.

Superman was mesmerizing from start to finish. The CGI was so good. Superman just a reboot - it's a reclamation of the characters core values . James Gunn and David Corenswot delivers a Superman who doesn't apologize for being kind hopefull, or idealistic. The Cinematography is stunning with excellent visual effects that enhance every scene without feeling overdone The storyline is strong and engaging with standout performances especially by the New Superman and Lex Luthor .Their acting brought real depth and intensity to the characters.

One of the highlights for me was how well the film explored Supermans more than human side.
