"Jailer " is tamil language action comedy film written and directed by Nelson and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures .

It stars Rajinikanth ( Muthuvel Pandian ) , Mohanlal , Jackie Shroff,Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Thammaah Bhatia ,Ramya Krishnan , Vinayakan,Mirnaa Menon, Vasant Ravi , Nagendra Babu ,Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore,Billy Murali,Sugathan ,Karate Karthi , Mithun,Arshad ,G .Marimthu ,Namo Narayana, Rithvik, Ananth, Saravanan,Aranthangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar and Kalai Arasan in lead roles.
