" Gehraiyaan "  is an upcoming hindi language romantic drama film directed by Shakun Batra who also wrote the script with Sumit Roy ,Ayesha Devitre and Yash Sahai .

The film stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi ,Ananya Panday ,Dhariya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat I Kapoor in lead roles .

The film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions ,Viacom 18 Studios and Jouska films .

Alisha Khanna ( Deepika Padukone) 30 ambitious ,now finds herself at a crossroads in life .Her 6 year long relationship has grown monotonous ,her career seems to be hitting a lot of roadblocks and just when she had begun to accept this reality as un changeable ,her life is usurped by the arrival of her cousin ,Tia Khanna ( Ananya Panday)  and her fiance Zain Siddiqui ( Siddhant Chatturvedi) , with whom she bonds over a troubled past and a common wish to break from its confines . The story charts the journey of Alisha Khanna and Zain Siddiqui, as they confront the ghosts of their past on the path they take to avoid it .

The film is scheduled to premiere on 11 February 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
