"Thangalaan"  is Tamil Language period action drama film directed by Pa Ranjith and Produced by K.E Ganavel Raja under Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

The film stars Vikram ( as Thangalaan) , Pasupaty , Parvati Thiruvothu , Maalavika Mohanan , Daniel Caltagirore , Harikrishnan Anbudurai ,Veetai MuthuKumar and Arjun Anbudurai in lead roles.

Set during the British rule in India ,The Film is about tribal leader Thangalaan's valiant struggle against the British after they plot to seize their land for gold mining.
