I truly loved this movie it was entertaining and full of action and some very highly emotional and intense acting.
" Napoleon" is epic historical drama film produced and directed by Ridley Scott and written by David Scarpa . Based on the true story of Napoleon Bonaparte .
The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Vanessa Kirby ,Tahar Rahim ,Ben Miles ,Ludvine Sagnier ,Mathew Needam ,John Hollingsworth, Yousuf Kerkour ,In Mcneice ,Rupert Everett,Paul Rhys and Anna Mawn in lead roles.Cinematography by Dariusz Wolski , Edited by Claire Simpson and Sam Restivo , Music by Martin Phipps.
It never lingered on any given chapter of Napoleon's life for too long.The pacing felt fast ,but natural.The battle scenes were epic in scale, and were among the best parts of the film.The film accurately portrays the dysfunctional relationship between Napoleon and Josephine, with Napoleon hopelessly in love 💖 with someone who obviously does not entirely reciprocate his affection.
The movie was not intended to be a critical look at history.The story was based on his personal.Life inspired by letters Josephine wrote to him . Ridley Scott's action scenes at their best.
