" Mamangam " is a Indian Malayalam historical drama film directed by M.Padmakumar and produced by Venu Kunnappilly under Kavya films.  It stars Mammootty ( as Chaver Thalavan )  in the leading role. 

The Film Originally shot in Malayalam will be dubbed in Tamil , Telugu and Hindi and will be simultaneoussly . And it become the first Malayalam Cinema set to release world wide in four languages on same day . It is Scheduled to be released worldwide on 12 December 2019 .

Screenplay by Adapted screenplay & dialogues  Shanker Ramakrishnan , Music by M.Jayachandran.  Cinematography by Manoj Pillai. Edited by Raja Mohammed ,  The background score will be composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara  , who composed the scores of Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat.

The story revolves around Mamangam festival. The film is a historical based on a medieval fair for the warriors known as Chaaverukal , who plotted against the Zamorin  rules to overthrow them. The film is based on the Mamankam festival celebrated during the 17th century , in which warriors from different parts of the country would arrive on the banks of the Bharathapuzha to fight against each other to prove their superiority .
