Mamangam is a Indian Malayalam historical drama film directed by M.Padmakumar and produced by Venu Kunnappilly under Kavya films.  It stars Mammootty in the leading role. 

Written by Sajeev Pillai. Music by M.Jayachandran.  Cinematography by Manoj Pillai. Edited by Kiran Das. The background score will be composed by Sanchit Balhara , who composed the scores of Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat. 

Starring : Mammootty, Prachi Tehian , Unni Mukundan , Prachi Desai , Malavika Menon , Mandrak , Abhirami V. Iyer, Kaniha , Neeraj Madhav , Sunil Sukhada , Meghanathan and Sudev Nair .

The story revolves around Mamangam festival. The film is a historical based on a medieval fair for the warriors known as Chaaverukal , who plotted against the Zamorin  rules to overthrow them. The film is based on the Mamangam festival celebrated during the 17th century , in which warriors from different parts of the country would arrive on the banks of the Bharathapuzha to fight against each other to prove their superiority .
